Linda Vreeburg SFX was founded in 2018 and has since been actively working as a wig stylist/(SFX) MUAH within the entertainment industry. After previously passing her exams for all round SFX makeup artist and hairdresser, Linda was fascinated by wigs and decided to gain more experience in making wigs and different types of hairpieces. In 2019 she completed Atelier Het Pruykenhuys’ ‘Wigmaking A to Z’ course, the same business where she later got employed as an atelier assistant. Besides working at Het Pruykenhuys and taking on commissions, Linda has acted as head or assistant hair and makeup for projects such as ‘De Enige Echte’ and ‘Cleopatra’.
During 2019 Linda participated in an international competition called ‘Iron Wig’. This competition is designed to give stylists the opportunity to come up with new techniques and go beyond boundaries to design extreme wigstyles. In total there were 5 rounds that year with one elimination each round. Linda ended up reaching 3rd place.
As a freelancer Linda has been styling custom wig orders for clients. Most of the time these styles were for photoshoots and drag performers. Some of her previous/current clientele consists of Unlimited Costume Works, Raquelle Flemming and Gumihohannya.
By continuously working with lots of excitement for the industry and eagerness to learn and to grow, Linda is able to deliver a variety of styles, no matter if it’s natural or extreme.
